I've seen a lot of natural disasters that had battered nation after nation after nation. Mother Nature sure knows how to retaliate effectively. We all remember the Johnstown Flood and Hurricane Katrina: both flooded particular areas in the United States and had killed thousands among its wake.

Looking at the big picture, one of the recent Super Typhoon that visited the archipelago of the Republic of the Philippines swept the nation with forlorn fragments of what had Ondoy (name of the typhoon) had caused during the aftermath. Hundreds were left homeless and hundreds more died.

Again, as demonstrated by a race fortified with values and compassion, the Filipinos added another good deed to their genuine resume – working hand in hand while the nation is in dire straits. Volunteers flocked evacuation centers distributing relief goods to the afflicted while sincerity continues to pour as of press time.

Emulating their kindness is a sure morale booster to those who are suffering the wrath of Nature. Let's all do our part and help.
