The compost pile is pretty neglected and it's really too dry and cold here to work well, so I want to start vermiculture to save our food scraps from becoming trash. I have all the materials to build the box and just need to do it and order some verms. We live off-the-grid on solar and wind power, but we drive gas-powered vehicles. Gardening in Flagstaff has some unique challenges and the grow season is barely 3 months. The greenhouse project got smashed during a supremely windy day. But there are good (expensive) options here at the local green market. And the garden needs to come inside the house! Outside of my personal lifestyle, I am intent upon helping raise consciousness around the world and within my network of peeps. I am currently planning an eco-restoration business.
