Today is the 200th Anniversary of Charles Darwin’s Birth… (I love Darwin… so this was a fun topic to look into) It is said that Darwin waited 20 years to release his work due to his internal debate of love and religious beliefs of his wife versus his theory and personal beliefs… In fact before he got married he wrote a list, essentially pro and cons titled… “Marry or not marry; this is the question” In which one of his more famous pros is that "a wife would be better than a dog…" I think that is personally my favorite reason.

What is the difference
Between your experience of Existence
And that of a saint?

The saint knows
That the spiritual path
Is a sublime chess game with God

And that all,  the Beloved
Has just made such a Fantastic Move

that the saint is now continually
Tripping over Joy
And bursting out in Laughter
And saying, "I Surrender!"

Whereas, my dear,
I'm afraid you still think

You have a thousand serious moves.
