Why is it when love seems to be failing, changing or ending, every single song that I hear directly correlates with all that I am experiencing....thank the Goddess for music....at least I know I am not alone....Ben Harper seems to have walked on the similar path way sooner then I... lol

Awesome article

"The longer bank-centrism is the dominant cosmology in the Obama administration -- and the longer it takes to switch to a plan that reflects a cosmology in which the American people are the center of the universe and are deemed too-big-to-fail -- the greater the risk that the economic crisis will be more prolonged than necessary. And the greater the suffering the crisis will continue to cause."

Getting ready for huge changes

Wait, getting ready for huge changes?  Damnit!  My mind did it again!  The only thing constant in my life HAS been CHANGE.  Time to be open to all the new struggles, joys, challenges and lessons that will arise from this next chapter of my life.  Trying to remember to relax into all of this and let go of the stories I tend to tell myself....they are quite amusing though:)

Foggy Brain Chatter

I find it incredibly intriguing how clear my mind is upon waking in the mornings.  As the day progresses, so does the clutter and the nonstop chatter that seems to not only rule my thoughts but to also create what I perceive as my reality.  How do I embody this peaceful state through out the whole day?  It is a constant struggle for me.  I know that this will only prove to become more challenging once I move into the stage of motherhood.  I find that I am extremely busy now and I don't even have a job!  I have no children!

Leave love behind

Pondering my next move...on my way out of the mid-west to return to California....one problem:  I'm leaving my love behind :(  So sad but equally grateful for all that we've shared and very open to keeping our relationship going, in whatever form that may be.  My heart feels crushed but equally excited.  It's such an odd experience...this love.

These lyrics captured the feelings festering in my heart.....

Grateful

I'm feeling quite blessed right now in so many ways.

Temporarily living atop Mt. Madonna, in a yurt, working with wonderful people.

Finding time for yoga, meditation, research papers, books, surfing facebook :).

Reconnecting with old friends and some new ones.

Healing a broken heart with the soft caresses of the wind that brings many positive messages of trust, hope, faith, love, and acceptance.

So, I've been observing the frustrations expressed by many friends and family in regards to the materialistic focus that Christmas has taken on.  I've spent some time pondering what this is truly all about and wanted to share my thoughts.....
